A stainless steel tool for removing portafilter baskets
Filter baskets can sit tight in the portafilter, and prying them out with a knife or spoon is how rims get scratched. This slim stainless steel basket lifter lets you lever the basket out cleanly, so it's easier to clean under it, swap it, or dry it.
It's small enough to keep in a drawer or beside your machine.
How to use it
Slide the tip under the edge of the basket and lift gently. Work around the rim if it's stuck.
Will it fit?
It's made for removable baskets in 51mm, 54mm and 58mm portafilters. Some machines use baskets that are fixed in place, and the tool won't help with those. If you're not sure whether yours lifts out, check your machine's manual.
Care
Rinse or wipe clean after use and dry thoroughly before putting it away.
Pairs well with
A cleaning cloth pack and a magnetic portafilter holder make a tidy cleaning routine.
Delivery
This item ships directly from our supplier, not from the roastery. If you order it with coffee, it will arrive in a separate parcel and may arrive on a different day.
