Our journey so far...

2022: Cricket Coffee Co Launches

Hi, I’m Dan, and Cricket Coffee Co was where this whole journey started. At the time, I was working within cricket, and with a genuine love for coffee, I thought it would be fun to bring the two together.

With the help of some great connections at a state-of-the-art local roastery, Cricket Coffee Co came to life - creating fun, cricket-themed blends that were as much about enjoyment as they were about great coffee.

Since launching, we’ve been lucky enough to collaborate and raise funds for some amazing clubs and charities, including The Metronomes CC and Lord's MCC Foundation. Our coffee has even found its way into the hands of some familiar faces and been shared by the likes of Greg James from the Tailenders podcast, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Nat Sciver-Brunt and Tammy Beaumont.

What began as a playful side project quickly became something more meaningful and laid the foundations for everything that followed.

2023: Yellow Jersey Coffee Launches

Next up for me was cycling. a sport I’ve loved since I was a little kid. Yellow Jersey Coffee was born out of that passion, with a new range of blends inspired by the beautiful terminology of the grand tours.

From Lanterne Rouge to Domestique Decaf and King of the Mountains, each blend celebrates the stories, spirit and tradition of the sport. A little tribute to cycling culture, one cup at a time.

2025: The Clubhouse Opens

After getting requests to cover more sports, and make it easier to mix and match them in the same basket, we decided it was time for something bigger.

So in the summer of 2025, we launched Clubhouse Roastery. A new home where all our favourite sport-inspired blends could live under one roof.

The new site also makes it easier than ever to explore blends by origin, flavour profile, or roast level - so whether you're after something bold, bright or balanced, there’s something here for every kind of coffee drinker.
