A bean dosing bowl and RDT spray bottle set
This set gives you the two things you need at the start of an espresso routine: a stainless steel bowl for weighing and pouring your beans, and a fine-mist spray bottle for the Ross Droplet Technique (RDT).
A light mist of water on the beans before grinding cuts static, so less coffee clings to the grinder and spreads across the counter. The bowl holds the beans while you weigh and mist them, then lets you pour them straight into the hopper.
What's in the set
- Stainless steel bean dosing bowl
- Fine-mist RDT spray bottle
How to use it
Weigh your beans in the bowl. Give them one or two sprays and stir. Tip them into the grinder and grind as normal.
Pairs well with
A WDT tool and a tamper make a tidy puck-prep routine for after the grind.
Delivery
This item ships directly from our supplier, not from the roastery. If you order it with coffee, it will arrive in a separate parcel and may arrive on a different day.
FAQ:
What does RDT mean?
RDT stands for Ross Droplet Technique. You add a tiny amount of water to the beans before grinding to reduce static.
Is the bowl only for beans?
No. It's useful for weighing and moving any small amount of beans or grounds.
Does it work with my grinder?
The bowl works with any grinder where you weigh beans by hand. It's especially handy for single dosing, where you add a measured amount for each shot.
